One good way to better extensions is an exercise that's really easy. I have been doing it for a little while, and I can see the improvement! All you do is stand and hold your leg (to the side) with one arm right below your knee(your leg is bent). Slowly extend your leg till it's all the way straight, and bring it back. To soften your shoes, just put a tiny bit of water on the area (while they are on your foot)and walk around. If you have any questions, email me! -an old dancer, rachel
