Sorry Judy. I should have explained. The ADA is a federal civil rights law for people with disabilities that I was betting the federal court had not complied with. LOL.

To a Dentist, ADA means American Dental Association. To others, ADA is American Diabetes Association. And to some, ADA stands for Another Darn Attorney. LOL. But in this case, to people with disabilities, the ADA is the Americans with Disabilities Act

The law reads like this:
The ADA prohibits discrimination and ensures equal opportunity for persons with disabilities in employment, State and local government services, public accommodations, commercial facilities, and transportation. It also mandates the establishment of TDD/telephone relay services.
(Public Law 336 of the 101st Congress, enacted July 26, 1990.)

TDD/telephone relay services are used by the Deaf ad Hard of Hearing.
