TITLE:  Deaf Services Manager

RESPONSIBLE TO: SNCIL, Executive Director

A high profile direct service position designed to provide case management and
individual and systems advocacy services. Serve as a liaison for resources for
people who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. Conduct outreach
specifically to transitional students, ethnic minorities, individuals who live
at or below poverty level and the elderly.  Responsibilities include overseeing
Deaf Resources and Hearing Equipment Distribution Program.

Cultural competency and personal experience with the deaf and hard of hearing
culture, Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related field preferred. American Sign
Language required.

Must possess excellent leadership; grant writing skills and the ability and to
generate new program funds. Strong organizational and writing skills necessary
to generate monthly, quarterly and annual reports.  Knowledge of Microsoft
Office Professional Software, reliable transportation, a valid Nevada Drivers
License, Nevada Vehicle Insurance and vehicle registration, required.
