Does it make you feel good to get out of your civic duty and responsiblity by hiding behind something that's supposed to help people? Do you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, being called to jury duty is a true sign of equality, the equal treatment you want?

Think about this the next time you get your SSI check, or call the workforce commission, or want your medicaid benefits. Sure, jury duty sucks. But, as an American, if you really want to call yourself an American, you should give back. It's like asking for an allowence without having done your chores.

Remember, abusing a privlege doesn't help your cause, it only hurts it.
