(as long as the "Divine Rebuke" in question is happening to someone else). And they want to hear something dark and juicy "confessed" if they can shame the person into it.

I thank you for your courage in leaving that rant posted--it defines its author better than anything you or I might typewrant in rebuttal. But, I beg to differ about those who believe as that sad commentary indicates--needing help. They wouldn't accept it. Theirs is the power to "see" the wages if sin, they believe. What they need is to feel *alone* (as the Minbari & Vorlons in Babylon-5 used the expression). Pointing fingers and browbeating is their ...Empowerment Strategy, and nothing a sane person can say to them will inspire them to let it go. No attempt to erase or suppress their drivel will deter them, either. It's being ignored and isolated that gets to them. RKBA! Regards, all.
