as if it is WRONG to be disabled, as if it is WRONG to be born with a disability, as if it is Wrong to LIVE with a disability. How will that attitude sound to a youngster tring to adjust?

Then the next step being "Hey, this baby may be born disabled. We'd better abort or we'll be sued."

I hear that's the way it is in France, now. Or at least getting that way. And the value of life, the value of OUR life, goes down, down and out!

The fact is, a person with a disability can have a very high quality of life in spite of what the medical folks (and lawyers) think. And they just might agree with me if they should happen to become disabled and realize that, compared to death, a life with a disability ain't that dang bad!!!
