I wish there were funds available to pay for care services. We have the same problem here. Most of the money goes to nursing homes. And I bet you wouldn't charge as much as a nursing home, would you? We are trying to get home and community based services here but it is a slow go.

How is your husband doing? My wife is a stroke survivor too. We attend a Stroke Club support group and she really likes it. Tell ya hubby we said hi.
