My mom used to do a dead-on impression of Loretta Young walking through the french doors at the beginning of her show. She'd put this gold lamé tablecloth that we used only at holiday time around her like a sarong and come through the "saloon" doors that we had separating the kitchen from the dining room. She was a natural clown - I guess that's where I get my knack and skill for doing impressions (just ask Jeanne or Susie Q. about my dead-on Katharine Hepburn and Bette Davis imitations). I haven't decorated my places for Christmas in a long time. This year I AM going to do it, though. I figure with Dollar Tree, Big Lots, Target and Overstocks.com I can stay within my budget and still have a nice compromise between the tasteful and something that's got me written all over it. I've let go of almost all the friction/issues stuff I've had with my parents. When I think about them, it's almost always about the good times. I dream about them all the time. The last dream I had of them, they, my grandparents and some friends (who are all dead) were helping me move into my new apartment. I just wish they'd do some ectoplasmic materializations to the management of The Frye and tell them to get me the hell in there! Ciao, Danny.
