Rose and other Filipino colleague in the Nursing profession

You are deceived to believe that a recruiter will help you.

A recruiter will help you if you are worth it! Meaning you are done with your NCLEX, CGFNS, English Test that even an American born citizen has to pass.

Here are some points to ponder:
1. A recruiter can easily earn 10,000 dollars just to launch you in the hospital per head.

2. If you are worthless they dump you, a typical American dog eats dog, and I survive first before you do strategy.

3. In America don’t trust anyone. Have you been in a car dealership lately?

4. That is the reason why some recruiter will invest in your NCLEX, CGFNS, Kaplan review just to entangle with a CONTRACT. If you are attracted with sweet promises and you found a good job than what she offers, watch out! Breach of contract will haunt you down!

5. DO NOT GO INTO CONTRACT unless you know what you are doing

6. If you don’t trust an American recruiter do not trust 100x a Filipino recruiter. I bet you will be eaten up. Except for this Filipino recruiter in Florida, they are helpful to you even if you are worthless (we were students of nursing during that time). They are transparent in their business. They even guide you what to do about recruiters!

7. They will hide to you other perks that you deserve to receive as a nurse like sign in bonus, housing and food allowance, gas allowance just to survive and transplant to their locality.

Aren’t you glad to be a nurse? You are just following the law of supply and demand. Use it to your advantage because it will die down later.

Happy hunting Rose

With all these frenzy, hunting down a nurse and passing the NCLEX or CGFNS, we group of Doctors with RN degree are planning to put up a Crusade to help Filipino Nurses now in America to pass that NCLEX sanely. We hold the review for Filipinos for free as a token of appreciation to our Filipino colleagues who help us. They don’t even represent a Nursing Organization. Just like our own PMA, PNA is more of a political and a social club. As we analyze the examination, we concluded it is a fair, considerate examination compared to the examinations we encountered in our medical life as a frequent examinee from medicine down to the specialty board exams. Kudos to NCLEX!

If you will analyze the examination it is intricately interwoven with common Pathophysiology of diseases with Maslow hierarchy and Growth and Development of a person in one question. Just priorities and you will get it right! Of course you need a basic idea of microbiology, pharmacology (drugs commonly used in the US) and medical terminology.

Good Luck my fellow Nurse. We should practice our profession in real life – a CARING individual
