I Ride a White Horse

I have worn many hats,
ridden varied horses as
well, yet you cant judge a
man
by hat worn, white or black,
nor by the horse
be it of small stature or tall
for the nature of he
still remains
veiled to most all
though I ride tall in
the saddle
thus depicting surity
indeed
inside slumps a heart
that cries deeply
as seed
seed yes sown
to the earth, with
each teardrop that
falls
rendered and offered
as fodder for
ground
my deposit of heart
can only remain what
it is
in the hopes that
that a brightness shall
radiate, from that shed,
a heart fallen
a mind broke
a frame compromised
indeed
as eyes filled
with tears,
sad moments recalled
parading mass standing tall,
good moments
a rare few
whilst glaring
stark reality
siezes and steals
dim hope yet
unearthed.
I do ride a white
horse
Sitting mounted
and tall,
yet....
they percieve it as
a black horse
therefore my heart
not recieved at all,
I shall change not
my horse
as to entreat all
this day
as I did often in
past
yet the world
t'was still held at bay
I ride a white horse
for it paints my heart true,
yet
they still see me in
dark hat
despite my heart say,
I console myself
however in this fact
alone
as my tears touch
to ground,
my horse knows his color,
and my heart
still untold
