so far, since the 2nd book (CoS) the sword of Godric Gryffindor has been recognized and stated by Harry while inside Dumbledore's office. i believe this sword will be the key in defeated Voldemort, since neither harry's nor Voldemort's wand is usefull in a battle against the other. i believe harry will use the sword to kill Voldemort in some manor. i realize the recognation of the sword could be trivial, but like dumbledore said "it would take a true gryffindoor to pull that out of the hat" as state CoS. might illude to a bloodline relationship between Godric and Harry (heir to Godric (Harry) against heir to Salazar (Voldemort)) thoughts?
