I finally took some photos of the K-ration crate and will post them here as soon as I get them develped.

The crate is made from pine.

Measurements overall:

55.6 cm x 31.4 cm x 21.3 cm

Measurements of boards used

sides: 55.6 cm x 19.3 cm x 1 cm

Ends: 29.4 cm x 19.3 cm x 1.9 cm

Top and bottom (2 each per): 15.7 cm x 5.6 cm x 1 cm
