Subject: Best Moments from Buffy to Provide Context for a New Viewer

Hello all. I wasn't sure if this board was still up and running, but much to my delight here it is. I was a long time lurker and an occasional poster but it has been a while since I last posted. I'm back now to ask a favor. :)

I am attempting to introduce a friend to Buffy. He does not have time to watch the whole series but he wants to watch the most consistently praised episodes (Becoming, Graduation Day, Hush, The Body, The Gift, & Once More With Feeling). My question is this: What episodes/clips should I show him so that he can get a full appreciation of these episodes.

Thanks for any reply!

Show him both "Doppelgangland" and "Anne" also great and unique in their own rights !

Definitely start out with "Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind," the season one episode where Clea Duvall plays an invisible girl. It very much encapsulates the show's main conceit that the magic and demons are all metaphors for the real-life hell that is high school.
