To me Christian the comics are just glorified fanfic and not very good fanfic at that. To me its no conicidence that the best of the comics was the Faith/Giles arch and Joss did not write it.
You have Buffy becoming a bank robber/sleeping with a pupil etc etc and the plot itself makes no sense and is full of holes.
Even Whedon himself has said he would ignore them if he had to do a Buffy film.
I think if it was not for the fact its got Buffy the Vampire Slayer written by Joss Whedon plastered on it people would have ditched this long ago.
