I'm headed to San Antonio on business this afternoon (I'll be gone until Thursday). The weather finally broke here and it's been extremely pleasant. But it looks like I'm headed right into the hot stuff on this trip . . .

AotD: There were so many with Anya. I'm giggling especially at the mime she did in Hush.

*gropes everyone lots in anticipation of a few grope-free days*

Well, you'll be closer to me, but yet so far! *g* Enjoy the biz trip.

Yes it's been quite toasty down here. Teenhope played in a soccer tournament this weekend with weather in mid to high 90's. I was melting on the sideline.

I'm hoping to find time to see the Alamo while there. I'm not sure what else I'll do, but hopefully there will be some fun amidst the business.

You've got to find some fun stuff to do while on a business trip or it would be no fun at all. Everytime we go to SA the Alamo has been swamped, I hope you have better luck.

have a safe, not too busy trip!

Weather here is abysmal. Grey and a very persistent drizzle. I'm glad I can stay in today and maybe later snuggle up under a blanket.

We're supposed to be getting better weather soon - when I have to go back to school. Nevermind.

I'm looking forward to some snuggling in a week and a half. My sweetie will be here a week from Wednesday. For the weekend, we're going to go up to the North Shore of Lake Superior and stay at a lodge. There will even be a fireplace there! So that should be a prime snuggling locale.

When do you head back to school? I have one who's excited to head back and one who professes not to be, but who I think actually is.

Sounds wonderful.

I have to be at school on Thursday for a short prep session with all my colleagues - and then on Monday school starts properly. I know which classes I'll be teaching, but I haven't got a timetable yet. Should really start working on my prep... I'm actually looking forward to it in some ways, but would like another week of lazyness.

[> [> Hot stuff? in Texas? -- MTsFan, 11:26:31 08/15/05 Mon [1] (205.175.225.24)

Mwahahaha

There was a bad combination this past weekend. We were moving our son from dorm to apartment at school. The temperature was mid-90's(F) and there was intermittent sprinkling rain. Can you say "steam bath?" It's still overcast with 50% chance of rain. That's in the Dallas area, Di. San Antonio is far enough to the South to have independent weather. Your results may vary.

More snarky double-entendre: There will certainly be hot stuff in Texas 'til Thursday.

Looks like highs in the upper 90's with chances for rain nearly every day, so much as you describe. Steam bath was exactly what I was thinking. Which means I have to pack for both over-air-conditioned buildings and outdoor stuff, too.

*gropes MTsFan and stuffs his undies with shaved ice and penguins to skate around on it*

There, that might help cool you off a bit. I may even have to jump in and join those penguins once I get overheated . . .
