Subject: OK, I'll jump in and start a thread on last nights episode, so here goes....

First off another powerful episode and Catherine did an amazing job again last night. I know I sound like a broken record, but Catherine just continues to grow and develop her craft and comes through with these phoenominal performances. Again, she's talked about digging deep as an actress to reach new heights, and she definitely is doing that and is such a rare and unique talent in the acting community today with an infinite well of creativity to draw from. It's such a pleasure to watch her work and see her just keep getting better and better.

As far as Season 3, it is definitely back on the right track and has got a real good flow to it along with some pretty great writing. I have to say I agree with the new leader at "Army Wives", because the writing and the work these guys are putting out is really outstanding and they should be very proud as I'm sure they are.

Denise is just gettin hit on all sides and you can just feel all the emotions she is going through. I knew that her friends were going to shun her, but I'll tell you it sure is hard to watch considering how close they all were. Denise was right, Roland got off easy. When Roland tries to convince her that it seems dark right now, but people overcome these things, just look at him, he did. And then Denise reminds him that only 2 people knew about his affair, her and Joan and that the whole post knows about hers and theirs no way to contain or fix it, I think from the look on Rolands face he gets it. It looks from the previews that they'll still be shunning her. I'm wondering if Roland is going to come clean to the rest of the tribe about his affair and that they should maybe rethink their judgement of her and put it aside. But from the previews it looks like he might be the one to start the ball rolling in the three women to make up with her.

Maita (or however you spell it...LOL)plays the part of Jennifer so well. She's one of those characters like Lenore Baker you just love to hate...LOL. She plays the part so well and yet you get the feeling under all that selfish, conniving witchiness, she does have a heart in there somewhere. I did have to laugh when she went to Claudia Joys to rub it in that she and Evan were going to move into the house and she wanted to measure the windows and talked about how much work it was going to be to update the house, but that she loved the house and it would be worth it. You just knew her whole purpose for going over there was to stick it to and goad Claudia Joy.

Viola seems like a fun character and I wonder if she'll be interacting with the others as well as Roxy. Opie...LOL seemed like a nice IRS guy. The part I laughed the hardest at was when Roxy and Trevor were fighting and he walks out and slams the door and Roxy gets all pissed off and says, "Oh you want to slam a door, I'll show you how to slam a door." And proceeds to open it real wide and slam it "twice"...LOL.

Again, another GREAT episode and I'll be strapped in again next week. Keep up the AMAZING work Catherine, we know you will and you never disappoint, and I look forward to more wonderful writing from the new staff.

Take Care!
KH :o)

I lived in a semi truck with my husband the first 2 years of our marriage.... lets just say.... those doors slam shut HARD HAHAH... awe the memories HAHAH... (divorced now-last time i slammed it i said i was never getting back in that door HAHA)

[> I thought of another comment that I snickered at...eventhough it was a serious scene I had to laugh because it was so true. The scene where Roland comes to see Denise and he starts off on one of his pshyco babble comments and Denise cuts him off and says, "Don't throw platitudes at me Roland, it's really annoying right now." Here's the definition of platitudes...(a flat, dull, or trite remark, esp. one uttered as if it were fresh or profound.) I had to LOL at that because Roland is so famous for these "platitudes"...LOL. :o) -- KH, 18:26:57 06/15/09 Mon

[> I watched the episode when I got home from work and I didn't want to push KH's post down; so I will post 2 pics tomorrow. I liked the show and I am really looking forward to all the juicy aspect's of her SL this season. It will be great to watch "Denise" pull herself up, dust herself off and move on. Great work. -- Rebel =), 23:33:00 06/15/09 Mon

[> Hi, i'm new from lurking and i decided to post. I just love this show and last nights show was terrific. [> [> Hi Katie, and welcome. Hope you come out and post more often. I totally agree with your sentiments about this board. Just really great CB fans who appreciate her for the terrific lady that she is. -- Jubellant, 19:55:48 06/16/09 Tue

[> Yep, I agree with KH, great episode. CB was awesome as usual. So looking forward to this season. It's going to be interesting to see how they fix things. Like we have talked KH, I too think Roland will be the catalyst in getting them to forgive her, and I think also will tell of his infidelities too. I hope Denise sets CJ straight, and I hope sometime this season, Evan & Jennifer get whats coming to them. Way to go Catherine, keep it up.. -- Carla, 01:04:42 06/16/09 Tue

[> Thanks for this KH. I have not seen the complete episode but have been thinking about comments made re the tribe shunning her. Denise talked to Roland after she had suspicions about him cheating but first tried to avoid him when he asked her to have lunch with him. She told him of her encounter with Joan and then expressed her disappointment. She did still say he was her friend though. I love the tribe. Seeing Denise on the outside of it hurts but I have to admire how she still manages to keep her head up and look people straight in the eye. She is not hiding but trying to piece her life back together with as much dignity as she can. The proud and positive letter from the showrunner can only spur these actors to even greater heights and I am so happy that CB is part of an ensemble that really cares about achieving excellence. It must be an exciting place to work, knowing that you all are challenging each other to deliver peak performances. I as a viewer really appreciate the results. -- Jubellant, 01:35:27 06/16/09 Tue

[> I was just taken with her delivery and those amazing facial expressions last nite- the "how you could be so cruel" DANG GOOD FOR HER FOR STICKING IT TO JENNIFER- I agree Jennifer just MAY have a heart in there somewhere. I was thrilled that they finally brought up Roland's affair- did you see the hurt and anger and sadness on D's face? Oh man that was so powerful. CB deserves some award/recognition of some sort for her performances. Many and I mean many actresses in Hollywood can take a cue from our girl of what is GOOD acting. CB ROCKS!!! :-) -- Kristen, 01:58:56 06/16/09 Tue

[> Just got thru watching the 2nd ep again on Lifetime. CB gave quite a performance. I really feel bad 4 her, she feels so alone rite now. What a brat Emaline is. I mean is she going 2 pout like that and not talk to anyone from now on. One ? thou, why is Denises house such a mess. She looks like shes the one who is moving, and by the looks of the previews she is. I have been hooked on this show from day 1. Nice 2 see they are using some actors that were on Jag. -- Jagcharmed2, 04:18:14 06/16/09 Tue

[> [> Hi Jagcharmed2. The reason Denise's house looks in disarray is because she is remodeling and did some repainting. I like it, it looks alot better than it was before, alot more homey and warm. :o) -- KH, 04:59:16 06/16/09 Tue
