I think its only natural that Chase is going to have some pyschological problems from being tortured. And yes Pamela needs to understand this, and not push him on it. But Pamela told Chase she understands him wanting some alone time, and she wasn't begrudging him that. It was the way he went about it, lying to her. Chase has always been self-absorbed, from the beginning. When Pamela got the money for the surrogacy and wanted to pay her father back first, Chase was all miffed that he had to give back HIS truck and HIS bigscreen TV...when they moved into the new house Chase was all pissy because his recliner wasn't in the position that HE wanted it in, then he made the very rude comment to Pamela that HE earns the money, just demeaning her and her contributions to their marriage. Pamela doesn't put up with Chase's crap, unlike Denise who did put up with Frank's (now she's standing on her two feet) and I'm sure the Moran's will work through things.
