Hey Jennifer, I acknowledge Frank has faults but c'mon sometimes sharing a beer with your son is just that. Was Jordanna right ? Of course not. The event probably made Frank more aware of how easy was to be tempted when your marriage is in a bad place. I too strongly feel he should fess up. He was not keen to hear about Mac as he would probably feel obligated to own up to his own indescretion, which he should still admit to. No matter how much of a harda$$ a Dad is, most sons would not turn around and BEAT their Moms. That DEAD comment was a horrible thing to say, something said in the heat of extreme anger and disappointment. It rankled me too but did you notice how emotional Frank got when Amanda showed him pictures of his son at boot camp? He did not look like the proud Father that his son was in the Army. He looked emotionally sad IMHO. Disagreement is fine. I'm sure you'll continue to point out his flaws and I will do the same re his plusses.
