A lot of options are out there. I had a little over a year wait for the job and I worked at a Airline, and no not doing baggage or some other off the street job. I was a material expeditor which meant I tracked and ordered parts needed for a/c when they were in the hangar for scheduled maintenance. Plus it paid about 35K. I applied online and I think that my degree pretty much got me the job. I got an interview and got the job offer a week later. It was a job that didn't need a college degree but it helped. I am sure that if ATC didn't work out that I could of stayed there and made a nice career moving up the corporate ladder.
