Subject: clutch slipping?

when taking off on my 2000 voyager and giving it gas it starts to slip in all gears when getting on it, up to speed. could this mean the clutch needs to be replaced or is there adjustment maybe? if the clutch needs to be replaced is this something someone could do on there own? i have only owned the bike since march only really started to ride end of may and june. please help
