Subject: 1996 Voyager Fuel pump problem

Periodically my carbs overflow. To avoid the problem I installed an Off/On switch for the fuel pump so that when the overflow happened I could just shut off the fuel pump until the carbs emptied and then switch it back on. I used this method for the last 50K Kms while trying to solve the problem. I finally gave up and replaced the fuel pump with an OEM pump hoping to fix the problem. Now it overflows all the time except when I have it shut off. Any Suggestions?
