39000 is not a lot of miles for the Voyager. No idea if the $1500 is too high, too low or about right..... Yes it is a fair amt of money. However, if you still like the Voyager I think I would fix it..............you have to ask yourself how much more money would it cost to buy a bike to replace it. If you are getting tired of the Voyager and wanting a different bike then do not fix it.

In the last 3 years I have put a new transmission and a new engine in my 95 pickup for a cost of around $5000. It was worth only salvage value if I did not fix it.
I look at it this way I now have a good very dependable 1995 4X4 pickup which cost me $5000 plus the salvage value. I could not buy any kind of dependable pickup for that money.

That is my philosophy on fixing older vehicles. I am sure others will have different opinions.
