First place I would check is the harness coming from the bottom of the ignition switch goes to the left you can see it with the fake tank cover off. There is a ty-wrap that fastens the harness to the frame about 8" to left of ignition switch. When you turn the handel bars the ty-wrap pulls the harness to tight and kinks it, when it is turned back it bends it the other way. Eventually fracturing the wire. If you carefully trim back the black covering you will see a deformed wire, start there, If you open that wire you may see it broke, cut and splice works. Even if that is not the problem and that ty-rwrap is there cut that ty-wrap out of there!!!.. Many have had this problem..
