The front fork springs are easy to install. There are postings on it in the AVA Forum, as well as the ABBikeBoard.com Forum.

Be sure to leave out the spacers, and the oil filters in the fork! I put them back in, and the fork was dangerously stiff!!! Took them out, and everything is fine now.

Recommend you change the fork oil at the same time. As far as weight goes, I just use Dexron VI ATF (VI is synthetic, but III is conventional, and will work as well), which clocks in at 8 Weight equivalent, which is middle of the road for action. After you install the Progressive Fork Springs, DO NOT PUT ANY AIR INTO THE FORKS! You will not need/want air in the front anymore, as it will be too stiff.

The will not raise the front end, either. If you do not install Progressive Shocks in the rear, I highly recommend replacing the oil in the OEM rear shocks, at least. The new fork springs will make any weakness in the rear suspension, glaringly obvious. If you do go with the Progressive Shocks for the rear, get the airless units, and forget about messing with air in the suspension. Cheers!
