The hassle, one reason I opted for the GoldWing 2005. I am not a GoldWing proponent, although it does everything my 'old' Voyager did and more. I wanted that type of engine, GoldWing had it, a tried and true, tough machine.
Saved some $ and have the machine I want. So, my gut feeling was that there would be limited quantity of 1700s. Heat problem, my guess, it won't improve. Harley Classic & Ultra, prior to 2009, re-routing of the right side exhaust, the heat was a serious leg burner in stop and go, summer riding.
