Subject: Help--Clanking sound

Getting a light "clanking" sound when I slow down at around 25 mph and below. It's not engine related because when I raise the engine speed the noise doesn't increase in speed. It seems to be the same with the clutch pulled in or engaged. Does seem to come from the front of the motor area but I can't pin it down. It also doesn't do it when I am totally stopped hence the trouble locating it.

Any ideas????
