Dear K. Jabir:

I replaced the long AM/FM antenna with a short, flexible black one from an auto parts store. I used the same chrome mount that the stock one uses. I ran the cable all the way up to the back of the AM/FM Casette player and plugged it in. Wonderful. Does not bang into my garage door frame, and sits well under a bike cover.
