Tie the forks off just next to the fender-the triple 't'. I use a double loop threaded through itself and attached to the wide short ratched tie down mentioned above. I remove the saddlebags and tie, again the double loop strap, and that goes around the frame just below passenger seat, just to keep the rear from bouncing around. The double loop straps are sold in all the bike shops around here, and I imagine, there and everywhere. Oh, it takes 3 minutes after the bike is on the trailer.
