Subject: The Whine goes or It's For Sale.....

Does anybody really know why (what sounds like winding or whining noise) seems to never go away? Okay let's say 30 mph as I am shifting smoothly through the gears you start to hear this winding noise as you speed up and shift. It winds up with the transmission until you shift and does the same through each gear. As I have said in an earlier posting at 65-70 miles an hour it is unbelievably loud.
So loud now that even my wife riding with me has said what is that noise it's killing my ears.....

I have changed every drop of every oil rearend and all...Still no change....It reminds me of back in the old days when driving one of those old trucks how the gears used to wind up and you shifted, even in top gear it was a constant whine or winding noise. If you let off the gas it would wind down and then if you stepped on the gas again it would winded right back up and hold that noise....This is exactly what my 2002 Voyager is doing......
