Our 90 XII developed a leak last summer on a 4,000 mile trip. It has the Phillips head screws, I now carry an 18 inch Phillips driver in the trunk. As an after thought, the cause of the leak was a slight tear or hole in the rubber tip on the right hand carbs needle valve.
