Subject: Need help with my radio and speakers

Hello all, my name is Jim. I bought a 95 Voyager about a year ago to go with my 2005 Vulcan. I have had no problems with the bike until last week. I was out riding when I noticed the radio sounded lower than usual. Then I notice that when I went over bumps, there would be static, then the radio would sometimes get stronger, other times it would get weaker. Still plenty loud to hear, but definitely not as powerful and weaker. I tried to figure out the problem tonight. Unfortunately I am a bit of an idiot when it comes to this type of stuff. I noticed that when I pulled a wire that was running over the right front fork, the radio seemed to get louder. I pulled it to hard and the speakers went from loud to the point where you could hardly hear them at all in a split second. I started pulling the fairing apart to get at the wires better, but soon realized I have no idea what I am doing. I don't know if I loosened something, somehow screwed up the amplifier, blew up a fuse, or something I have not thought of. Does anyone have any ideas that can help me.

Thank you for any help you can give me,

Jim
