This weekend I finally got around to replacing the old mounts with the new ones I go from Carl. Here's the rub, two of them were broken in more than one place. Although the rubber had come off from the metal tops, one was also coming apart from at the bottom and another was splitting in the center. I check the other side and found one was splitting from the bottom. I'd suggest that this winter you your speakers off checking the mounts. I could not tell that my second one was breaking by looking at it while it was mounted.
