Subject: front brake lever

over the winter i took apart my front calipires to clean them, the left one was hung up from a bit of corrozine, anyways, i cleaned it and it took a long time to bleed it, i use a hand vac pump, now the brakes feel good, no spongy feeling, and work well but the lever has 1 1/2 inch's of traval before it hooks up, i bleed the banjo bolt up top also, like i said they work just fine but is that play normal? thanks for any input, and a good memorial day to all, remember
