Dear Kim:

I decided while living in Europe that I had experienced enough checking and filling the air valve on my front forks, so I totally removed the whole system from my bike, and plugged the holes on the side of the chrome fork tubes with J.B. Weld(an incredibly strong 2-part epoxy). Now I don't have to bother with checking air, worrying about oil coming out through the air valve, or oil migrating from one fork to the other.

As for handling, the front end is much better now than when I had the whole air system on it.
