As much as I appreciate the tip about removing the cable after riding in the rain, I live in Seattle. If a bike can't handle a bit of moisture, gotta get a different bike.
Snaky day here. No rain for almost a month, and it was drizzling this morning. Took the car for good reason, half of Saudi Arabia was floating on the road. Saw two downed bikes, took one of the guys to work. He's ok but the bike is gonna need some work.
New rider, less than ten thousand miles. So we had a chat about how snaky it can get after it hasn't rained in a while.
Oh, well. I did the same thing. 35 years ago.....
