LeRoy, you are right....remove the big sound chamber in front of the mufflers and close up the holes. THis will give you a bit more rumble. If you want just a little more here's what I did; sharpen to a point one end of a two-foot (approx) length of 5/8 inch rebar or similar round object. Shove the rebar into the INLET of the muffler by hand until it stops. Then take your handy hammer and drive it in another 3 or 4 inches. This opens up a baffle inside the muffler. You may hafta wiggle the rebar to get it back out. Install your exhaust system and you will enjoy the new sound, I promise. Happy trials, Max
