Alan, couple of things to check.
The Ignitor under the faux tank on the right of the air filter cover.. Check the numbers on it.. If it ends in -1179 then coupled with a weak battery, you have the combination that breaks the starter chain. The replacement ignitor can be had through Carl Leo. The newer model ends in -1248
It is an engine out job and crank case split from what I can gather.. However, I believe that Kawasaki STILL HONOUR the warranty on this problem. They only allow 9 hours labour now so you MAY have to remove the engine and take it in to a willing Kawa dealership.
Where in the UK are you.. Im heading back "Home" at the end of May for a week and can bring bits! I live in the US and will be visiting Brum, and Brighton.
There are at least Two other Voyager owners over there that I have contact with. If you want to get anything shipped here to me and I bring it over as long as its not too big , can do.. Drop me an email..
