It's fine to use synthetic oil in your Kawasaki Voyager. The check your owner's manual for the correct viscosity. It's winter so I'm running AMSOIL 10W40. First thing I had to do when switching to AMSOIL synthetic was turn down the idle. Now that's some serious friction reduction.
