Doug:
Well I was not successful, the bike now idles very well
but blogs out and back fires when I try to accelerate. Starts up a lot better when cold though. The bike before still had high speed rpms, but no mid-range. Now no mid-range or high rpm. I cleaned the carbs and put them back exactly the same.
Seems to be have alot of exhaust comimg out, I guess rich?
But its acting like there is a gas supply problem because the engine will not reach high rpm the same when the choke is applied. There are no leaks around the heads and the air screws are out 2.5 turns. Bike is a 2000. Do you think a coil could but ok @ idle and then start breaking up when under load?

Wayne
