Thanks guys, it actually turned out to be the switch itself. It would turn but nothing would come on, then I accidently turned it too far and it locked the forks and would not unlock. So new switch was ordered and is not installed end of problem. And yes that connection was corroded. I cleaned it off. No electrical grease available though (found it later at autozone small packet) FYI do not buy a used one on EBAY without a key. Switch will cost you $30 but locksmith will charge you $96-$130 to make you a key New switch with keys is $130. plus tax
