John,
The line you are describing is the one from the tank to the fuel filter.
The items you describe removing are right.
Whenever you remove the overflow tank, remove the bolt from the bike, not the one from the overflow tank. It will make it easier to put back. Beware of the coolant line on the back bottom. If you pull too hard it will add antifreeze to you mixture of spills.
Whenever you replace the black air box, make sure the springs are already connected. Afterwards is a pain in the "well you know".
