Hi again, Stan...I wouldn't worry about the aluminum. It'll probably only last 25 years or so. And it's easy to work with. If you are in need of antenna tips...you know, the little round ball at the top?....Wal-Mart has them in sporting goods. Shiny chrome or brass, whichever you prefer. Fishermen call them sinkers.
