Hey Bill, I can understand that... Like I said before, its not like our old Voyager but it does have some nice features. As far as the price, we know it will be less than some of the other touring bikes. Kawasaki just does that. I'll bet it handles pretty good. It is a newly designed motor with some good features itself. Like you said, you will need to take it for a ride. Myself, I like most bikes just because they are bikes. As for my favorite,,, its all about the fit for me. The price is relative. If I really like it, I will justify the price. The Goldwing is a nice bike but its just 'not me'. Not to mention it cost way too much for what you get. IMHO. A lot of Goldwings price is its 'name'. BMW, HUMMMM, I've had a few including an RT and LT. My favorite BMW, the old boxers. Then again I like old Triumphs, BSAs and Nortons. :O). One of my favorites was my 1945 Vincent HRD Rapide. Had to sell it. Needed the funds. I actually cried when it left.
Bill, if ya like the bike and it fits, don't think twice. I wouldn't.
