Don, the crankcase vents behind the coolant overflow tank into the bottom of the air box. You'll need to remove the overflow tank to see the little rubber tube. Were you running hotter than normal according to your temp gauge? I run speeds like that on the highway all the time and the temp gauge runs normal.

There are a number of areas under the left removeable engine cover that could be the source of the leak. O-ring for water pump, O-ring for clutch slave cylinder, the neutral/overdrive switch, oil seal for shift shaft, O-ring for alternater to name a few. I'd spray the whole area down with Gunk Engine cleaner, hose it down and keep an eye on it. Leave the engine cover and the chrome side cover off and watch for oil buildup. I've heard of dusting the area with baby powder but never tried it myself.
