Subject: I recommend the Conti-Tour
In reply to: Craig O 's message, "How are the Continentals for traction, braking, cornering, etc?" on Wed March 11, 2009 10:15:07AM

The Conti-tour I have found to be an excellent all-around tire for our bike, especially in wet weather. Its price makes it a real value leader among the available brands. On the other hand, I have used both the Avons and Metzelers. They are both very good.

Additional Note: None of us have been talking about other brands such as Michelin. I picked up a Michelin front tire on Ebay this winter, and will report my success with it later.
