Subject: headset-radio

Wife and I had Air Rider headsets mounted in our Nolan 41 helmets recently(Thanks Neal for a nice job). Everything works fine I think but is it normal for the radio to keep playing when you communicate with your passenger? I adjusted both inner and outer rings of the far left radio controls and I was able to adjust the volume of the headsets but nothing else. Am I missing something? I read awhile ago about the trunk light being tied to the radio some how. I took the bulb out of the trunk so I was wondering if that would have any impact since I thought the radio would shut off while you were talking on the intercom. Any thoughts? Thanks.
