Shoot, a nice clunk/slap sound to me is normal having owned old BMW boxers and loopframe Guzzi's, sweet sound to my ears ....... Mine was a bit quieter before I installed my heel shifter, now I get that slap sound just about every time I upshift, confirmation I made the gear change just as I am used to.................
