Subject: charging system

Hi
i have a new problem
my battery is always low
its new high amp interstate
i charge every night (almost every night)
a battery tender
i do this after a very $$$$$$$$$$ repair-starter chain
today i left bike idle for about 15 mins to check temp guage and fan.
i shut it off for about 5 mins then went to start it DEAD
pushed started it run around a bit 10 min then tried it and it started fine--then put back on battery tender
any ideas which way i should go with this?
