From what I've read on the Motorcycle Trailer Towing forum, they seem to be pretty reliable, but even still, I've always been a little weary of them. Mine is a '98. Got it used last month. I wasn't able to inspect the trailer before I got it, so, you know, kinda jumped into it. One side on mine does sit just a hair out of kilter, but it's not really that bad. I started to take it apart to look and see how it all goes together. I thought, if I could get knew torsion rubbers, well, but then I kind of decided maybe to just leave it alone, mainly cause I too, am not enthusiastic about spending another $100 or $150 for new axles. Still may do it, but not today, LOL. I'm more concerned right now about the cracks in the frame right behind the axles. Both sides are cracked.

What year is your trailer? Have you checked out the torsion stuff elsewhere, like, www.neoshotrailers.com?
