Garry, you are right. My bike was rebuilt after a wreck and has two different sets of locks on it. I had my keys cut , one side for one set and the other side for the second set. The locksmith ground one side of the top end of the key flat so I would know which way to turn it so it would work without have to try it and then turn it over if I had the wrong side up.
